Meet our Summer Camp Directors for 2016!
Antoinette Sands is CWC's founder and director. She began singing in her church's children's choir at the age of four, and found a love for music and Jesus ever since. She studied voice privately for many years, and traveled as a singer & dancer with the Premier Design Singers in Ft. Worth, TX for 5 years. She has sung as a soloist in venues such as Madison Square Gardens and Philadelphia's Vet Stadium. She taught music at 2 different Christian schools, and was a church music director and worship leader for over 10 years. She is passionate about raising a new generation of children who love God and desire to worship Him with their lives. Married for 19 years this June, she has four children who are following in their parents' footsteps to love and serve Jesus with all their heart!
Sarah Grace Stevenson has been a principal dancer in numerous musicals including Oklahoma!, 42nd Street, and West Side Story. She has played piano since she was six, and grew up singing in children's choirs, and playing in her school band and church orchestra with both piano and French horn. She studied voice at UAB and was involved in their choral and opera programs. Currently, she works with children leading worship at Church of the Highlands' Woodlawn campus and is active with the Birmingham Dream Center's children's ministry- DC Kids. She is so excited to encourage a heart of worship in the children, as well as offer her musical and dancing expertise to our week.
